OBITUARY:
Frank Egan of Silverton dies – Silverton – Frank Egan, 77, died Wednesday afternoon at a Silverton nursing home. He was the late resident of Silverton Rt. 3, Box 92.
Egan was born December 19, 1881 near Silverton, where he lived his entire life. His wife, Minnie Egan, died last July 2.
Survivors are two sons, Ardis Egan, Los Altos, Calif., and Ralph Egan, Silverton; daughter, Mrs. Mildred Peterson, Silverton; brother, Merton Egan, Silverton; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel King, Silverton.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ekman Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
