Indiana, and Lilly, age 30, mother of 4 children, b. Jul 1869 in Illinois, along with Iowa, age 4, b. Nov 1895 in Missouri, James, age 2, b. Dec 1898 [sic] in Nebraska, and Alta, age 2 months, b. Mar 1900 in Washington;
1910 OR CENSUS - Martha E. Gilham, age 11, b. Washington, is enumerated with father George C. Gilham, age 51, second marriage, occupation farmer, b. Indiana, and Lillie, age 40, first marriage, mother of 8 children, 6 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. Missouri, along with James W., age 12, b. Nebraska, Alta, M., age 10, b. Washington, Lela, age 8, b. Washington, and Hazel, age 4, b. Oregon.
OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Martha Gilham Means, 72, Oregon City, a former Salem resident, died Thursday in an Oregon City hospital. A native of Pomeroy, Wash., she lived in Salem from 1905 until moving to Oregon City in 1942. While here, she taught school in the Macleay area.
Surviving are the widower Charles, daughter Melba Means, Korhogo, Ivory Coast, Africa; sons Howard, Clackamas, and Ray, Milwaukie; brothers James Gilham, Salem, and George Gilham, Portland; sisters Alta Keuscher and Dorothy Hasche, Salem, and Hazel Becken, Silverton; four grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Conservative Baptist Church, West Linn. Interment will be noon in Mt. Hope Cemetery in the Waldo Hills area of east Salem. Hillside Mortuary, Oregon City, is in charge.
