Clifford H. Kuenzi
November 15, 1924 - April 25, 2007
SILVERTON - Born on the family farm to Herman and Emma Kuenzi, he lived there his whole life, dairying, and later growing row crops on the farm. He married Violet Stadeli in 1946. He was a former president of the National Farmers Organization and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. He loved to hunt and fish. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Kuenzi of Silverton; son, Kenneth Kuenzi of Warrenton, Ore.; daughters, Charlotte Zurbrugg of Silverton, Cheryl Schurter of Silverton, Kathy Maul of Cissna Park, Illinois, and Jeannette Schurter of Silverton; son, Stuart Kuenzi of Salem; sisters, Eleanor Schmidgall of Silverton and Hazel Stadeli of Silverton; 44 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation from 6 - 9 p.m., Friday, April 27, at Unger Funeral Chapel, Silverton. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 28, at the Apostolic Christian Church. Interment following services at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements are by Unger Funeral Chapel.
